Mira Costa’s boys soccer tied Peninsula 1-1 at an away game at Peninsula High School on Feb. 2nd. Despite being down players, Costa still was able to tie the game.
The boys came out strong with a goal scored by Ramiro Raygosa. The Mustangs were unable however to keep Peninsula from scoring a goal, tying up the game. According to senior Adrian Caldevilla, the boys utilized their players effectively throughout the game.
“We were short some of our best players,” Caldevilla said. “We had to utilize the personnel available and some players off the bench came up big for us.”
Costa will play its next game against Inglewood at an away game on Friday at 6 p.m.
