“Young & Hungry” season three will satisfy your taste buds with its clever humor making you feel, well, young again. The new season of “Young & Hungry” on Freeform (formerly called ABC Family), was created by David Holden is funnier and more creative than ever.

The show has great and believable acting, never ending humor, intriguing relationships, and scenes that are not very believable but create a great plot.

“Young & Hungry” is an original series that began airing in 2014. Set in San Francisco, the show is about about a young chef named Gabi (Emily Osment) that gets employed by a young billionaire and tech entrepreneur named Josh (Jonathan Sadowski).

The shows creator, David Holden was inspired by the food blogger Gabi Moskowitz when creating the plot. Holden, the creator is also known for the Disney Channel show “Shake It Up,” FOX’s “The War at Home,” and CBS’s “Accidentally on Purpose.”

Season 2 left the viewers hungry for more episodes. The second season cliffhanger had the viewers hooked when Josh finally realized that his feelings for Gabi were real and that he wanted her. Sadly, he had already sent her and his brother, Jake, away in a food truck to Coachella.

Gabi and Josh’s have a humorous relationship that has gotten them through thick and thin. Gabi and Josh have had mixed feelings for each other and unfortunately do not do anything about it. This frustrates the viewer’s because they want Gabi and Josh to be together as a couple.

So far this season is funnier than the last two. Each character was more comedic and the show overall never had a dull point. There was always something to laugh about. The writers put so much creativity and humor into the script. Gabi always has a humorous comment to add to any situation.

Emily Osment and Jonathan Sadowski play their characters with so much believability. Giving their relationship believability and not seem scripted. Other actors such as Aimee Carrero, who plays Gabi’s roommate ,Sophia, and Kym Whitley, who plays Josh’s housekeeper, Yolanda, fit their roles perfectly. This causes the show to seem sort of like a reality show but without any drama. The cast could not have chosen any better.

Even though the events that happened in the show are not that likely to happen in real life, those scenes make the show even more interesting and keep the viewers wanting to watch it more and more. For example; when Josh bought Gabi her own food truck. That is very unlikely to happen in real life, but because Josh is a billionaire he is able to.

“Young & Hungry” is full of comedy and is definitely worth binge watching. There has never been a dull moment in any of the seasons and each season is just getting better. The show will definitely leave you hungry for more episodes.

“Young & Hungry” is for viewers 14 and older and airs on Freeforrm on Wednesday nights at 5pm.
