Freshman Nicole Matsumoto laces up her shoes on Thursday after school for one of the last practices before the girls basketball team’s CIF championship game. Costa’s girls basketball team has reached the championship game the last two years and hopes to earn the CIF title on Saturday at 3:30pm at Azuza Pacific University.
