“Fuller House”, Netflix original series, is an awkward yet incredibly intriguing sequel to the original show, “Full House”.
“Fuller House” grabs the viewer’s attention with the return of the original characters and introduction of new characters, but can be annoying of trying to replicate the original series, and the integration of technology into the show.
The show was released on February 26, 2016 and was only released through Netflix streaming. The show is being directed and produced by the original director ,Jeff Franklin. The show features many of the original actors and introduces new characters also.
The show’s premise follows as the family is starting to move out of the family home, and the eldest daughter, DJ, is becoming a single and raising her three children with her sister, Steph, and best friend, Kimmy.
The season’s premiere was shocking yet amusing to watch to see how the original cast has aged over the years. The sight of the original cast is almost sad to see how much they’ve changed. Although a hard sight to see, it’s still amusing to watch and enjoy.
The introduction of new characters into the show, is strange to watch with the addition of these cars. The new children in the show act the same as DJ and Steph did in the original series, which is funny and a delight to watch. The new characters are a good fresh start for the show.
Throughout the season premiere the show is constantly making references to jokes that were made in the original series. The addition of these jokes can be funny but also quite annoying and making the show less original.
When the original series, “Full House”, was released Smartphones, Computers, and Social media didn’t exist. Throughout the show jokes are put in referring to things such as Uber and Instagram, these jokes can be bothersome and overused at times.
“Fuller House” is a great watch for any fan of the original series, and most enjoyable to watch because of the original characters, cheesy references, but can be annoying with trying to replicate the original series and the addition of bothersome jokes.
The show’s first season is available to watch through Netflix streaming.
