The Manhattan Beach Coordinating Council hosted its fifth luncheon of the school year on March 17 at the Belamar Hotel in Manhattan Beach to honor Manhattan Beach students for their academic achievements and extracurricular activities.
The MBCC awarded fifth grader Jacksyn Toppenberg from Grand View Elementary, fifth grader Tommy Griffin from Robinson Elementary, middle schooler Donny MacArthur from American Martyrs School, eighth grader Kaitlyn Sciarrino from Manhattan Beach Middle School and Junior Beau Staso from Mira Costa High School.
“It is always wonderful to see all the ways students participate in the community,” Coordinating Council President Stephanie Martin said. “Manhattan Beach is a community that is committed to excellence in education and also the extracurriculars students do are so amazing they have to be honored.”
