The musical tells the story of a peculiar family, but like any other family, the parents face the challenge of their kids growing up. When parents Gomez and Morticia’s teenage daughter, Wednesday, falls in love with a boy named Lucas who is from a normal family, relationships are tested and the Addams family must face change, which is what they fear most.
Tickets will be available for purchase at the door for $12 for students and seniors and $18 for adults. Upcoming shows include tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday at 4 p.m., Thursday at 6:30 p.m., and Friday at 7:30 p.m.
“Obviously ‘The Addams Family’ is such a big, iconic show and it’s so different to do,” Drama president senior Dana Beech said. “Costa has a very good reputation for putting on amazing musicals, and I think that ‘The Addams Family’ is one that really wowed people.”
