Over the six years Lofton has worked for Costa, she has worked to improve the technological environment of Costa’s library by implementing the usage of a green screen and a three-dimensional printers. After retiring, Lofton plans to spend more time with her family and friends and traveling with her husband.
“I have worked to make the library a place for equitable access to resources of all kinds and to support teachers with resources and technology,” Lofton said. “My hope is that my successor will continue with similar goals.”
