Mira Costa’s Associated Student Body announced the 2016-2017 sophomore, junior and senior Associated Student Body grade level representatives on Tuesday after students voted during second period.
Students chose two candidates from each grade level to represent their class. Next year’s senior class representatives are Leah James and Max Taylor. Trevor Van’t Hof and Jackson Cunningham won for the junior class representatives, and Daniela Arensdorf and Ava Van’t Hof will be next year’s sophomore class representatives.
“This campaign process definitely took a lot of hard work but I know that it was all worth it in the end and has made me a better person throughout this whole experience,” Arensdorf said. “I know that I can improve this school and cannot thank my family and friends enough for believing in me through this. I know that all the other candidates worked really hard too.”
