Mira Costa girls volleyball faced off against Palos Verdes Peninsula Oct. 14, winning in three games. With this home victory, the Mustangs now hold an 8-5 record for the season and an undefeated 3-0 Bay League record.
Costa’s sweep consisted of scores 25-12, 25-20, and 25-23. Sophomore middle blocker Kylie Taylor and senior outside hitter Emma White led the Mustangs with nine kills and eight kills, respectively.
The Mustangs will be traveling to Torrey Pines High School for a volleyball tournament where they will play against other high schools on Oct. 15 and 16.
