The girls tennis team returned on Oct. 26, with a strong home win in a Bay League match against West Torrance High School. The Mustangs’ victory brings the girls’ overall record to 11-5 and improves their Bay League record to 4-2.
Sophomore Maegan Manasse led the Mustangs in their 15-3 win, winning all three of her matches 6-0. Her three wins improve her personal record to 45-0 on the season. Senior Taylor Mahr also played a large role in the Mustangs’ win. Mahr won all three of her matches, all of which ended with a 6-0 score.
Senior Laura Derian and sophomore Hanna McGuire combined with the senior pair of Sara Derian and Alex Vand in the doubles competition to add six match wins for the Mustangs.
The Mustang’s will host Bishop Montgomery on Oct. 27 at 3:00 p.m.
