The Mira Costa girls volleyball team defeated West High School on Oct. 28 at home. Costa’s record now stands at 17-6 for the season and 6-0 in Bay League.
The Mustangs swept West Costa in their sixth Bay League match with comfortable scores of 25-8, 25-16, and 25-16.
Senior Ella Rosenfeld led the Mustangs with 9 kills, sophomore Gracie Chavers had 8 kills, and both senior Jace Pardon and junior Katie Warshaw contributed 13 digs. Freshman Lan Nyguen had 6 kills and 7 digs.
The Mustangs travel to Santa Barbara to compete in the two-day Tournament of Champions on Oct. 29.
