Frozen yogurt just got a whole lot healthier with the opening of Pressed Juicery located at The Point in El Segundo.

Pressed Juicery now offers healthy, but limited frozen yogurt options, along with their signature juices, a variety of toppings for a reasonable price compared to local competitors. Overall, the new yogurt and juice spot is perfect for people seeking a healthy dessert option, catering to vegans, gluten and dairy allergies.

Pressed Juicery has multiple locations throughout the South Bay and Los Angeles area, but recently select locations including The Point have expanded their business by selling all natural frozen yogurt. The “Pressed Freeze” is made from one hundred percent whole fruits, nuts and vegetables. The new delicious dessert is also vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free and has no sugar added.

Pressed Juicery is a minimalistic juice and frozen yogurt bar. The new location at The Point has the same modern ambiance as the other locations. Due to the new product “Pressed Freeze” this location in particular is constantly flooded with eager customers.

To make the all natural “freeze” more delectable, Pressed Juicery offers plethora of toppings for customers to choose from, including a variety of fresh fruit, chia seeds, granola and almond butter. All of the toppings successfully follow the healthy vibe of the dessert joint, while still maintaining a level of indulgence expected in a dessert.

Considering how healthy and scrumptious “Pressed Freeze” is, the pricing is not outrageous. The two sizes, small and regular, sell from $4.95 to $7.50 depending on toppings. Compared to other frozen yogurt competitors the pricing is reasonable, especially considering the dessert is made from wholesome ingredients.

The only downside to the delicious dessert is the limited amount of flavors. There are only four flavors available, greens, fruits, chocolate and vanilla all made from fresh fruits, nuts and vegetables. Each flavor tastes refreshing, making them perfect for people seeking a healthy dessert that is still appetizing.

In addition, although “Pressed Freeze” is extremely enjoyable and guilt-free, the location at The Point is too small for many customers to order and enjoy the treats. The outdoor seating makes the dessert spot feel larger, but there is still limited seating for customers.

Overall, although the small location does not have enough room for all of the eager customers to sample the new frozen yogurt, the flavors are extremely divine. The limited frozen yogurt selection is also a negative, but the wide variety of toppings make up for it.

Pressed Juicery is located at The Point in El Segundo. The juice and frozen yogurt bar is open Monday through Sunday from 7am to 9pm daily.
