The Mira Costa Associated Student Body announced the 2016 homecoming court today during the fourth period which consisted of six prince and six princess nominees.
The princesses include seniors Danielle Gonzales, Junko Cohn, Darby Dayton, Kalea Frank, Delaney Kluth and Delaney Whittet. The princes include seniors Nico Brunstein, Ronald Clinton, Adam Enomoto, Duke Mahr, Max Taylor and Hogan Webb.
“I am super excited to be on homecoming court during my senior year,” Frank said. “This will be something I will remember for the rest of my life.”
During the week of Oct. 10-14, the nominees will participate in events such as costume dress ups and a pep rally performance at the end of the week. The theme of the week will be “Around the World.”
ASB will announce the Homecoming King and Queen on Oct. 14 at the varsity football homecoming game against Morningside.
“I’m looking forward to spending a week with both people I know and don’t know,” Mahr said. “This is a great way to spend my last year at Costa.”
