Juniors Yasmeen Barrera and Lauren Mueller race while in Palos Verdes on thursday October 14th. They raced in the junior varsity race against runners from Mira Costa as well as opposing schools. Senior Caleb Llorin races in the boys varsity race against runners from Redondo, Palos Verdes, and Peninsula High School. The boys varsity cross country team raced 7 runners in this event. Junior Xavier Court runs along the trail while on the second mile of the Palos Verdes cross country course. The course made it so the runners ran along this trail twice during the race. Senior Matt Arruda and Sophomore Cy Chittenden work together to run past a member of the Palos Verdes High School team. They did this while on the second mile of the race. Sophomore Cy Chittenden sprints the last few feet before the finish line while at the cross country meet in Palos Verdes. Mira Costa’s cross county runners are instructed to run as fast as they can at the home stretch of the race.
