The Mustangs lost their final game of the 2010 regular season on Nov. 5 against the Loyola Cubs, 11-5.
In front of a large crowd, the Mustangs were unable to defend their victory and Loyola finished the game, ending the close game in a loss for the Mustangs.
The top performer of today’s game was Dana Tuttle. Tuttle had 12 saves for Mira Costa and was able to rally the team to attempt a comeback in the end.
The Mustangs play again on Nov. 10 in their first game of CIF against Ayala at home at 3:15 p.m.
