Students’ and staff members’ bought and donated toys for the less-fortunate children. Sophomores, London and Maggie, follow instructions from Ms. Claypoole to tape the brown boxes closed with a nutcracker printout on top that lists the child’s name. Each brown box contained a specific toy the child asked for. Members of ASB, Maggie and Sabrina, look at the gifts homeroom classes bought with the money they raised. All homeroom classes at Costa raised money to buy gifts for their adopted child or family. Junior, Trever Vanthof, loads the gifts into “Salvation Army” boxes that will be given to children on Christmas. Three ASB members load canned goods into boxes, which will be handed out to the less fortunate. Boxes laid in teacher’s homeroom classes for students fill with cans.
