Mira Costa’s girls water polo team demolished West High School 17-1 on Wednesday in a home game with a top performance by senior attacker Chloe Le.
The Mustangs scored plenty of goals early in the game, and were moving the ball well according to junior attacker Ella Pachler. Costa also caused plenty of turnovers and were relentless on the ball.
“We came out strong at the start of the game,” Pachler said. “We capitalized on our chances and were confident coming into this game.”
Costa, now 7-6 overall, will next play in the AFC Invite Tournament in San Diego this weekend. According to Pachler, Costa needs to work on their man advantages.
“To be successful, we need to work on our power plays and score to give ourselves a better chance of winning the game,” Pachler said.http://www.lavistamchs.com/wp-admin/media-upload.php?post_id=32314&type=image&TB_iframe=1
