Junior Evanson Frank-Love runs to stop the player on the other team from scoring a try against Costa. Frank-Love later went on to stop the other team from scoring many times.Costa’s Rugby coach calls the team together for a meeting right before overtime. Costa went into overtime in their first CIF game and lost 19-26 to Torrey Pines High School.Senior Alec Oshita gets lifted in the line-out after Torrey Pines threw the ball out of bounds. Oshita later went to get the ball for the Mustangs and winning in many line-outs.One Costa Rugby player attempts to run through the opposing team to score for the Mustangs, but gets tackled by them. Costa had many attempts to score tries during the game, but lost by one try.Costa’s team gets ready to face off to get the ball from Torrey Pines to score a try. Costa never lost a game at Waller Stadium their whole season, until their first CIF game.
