Mira Costa’s annual Scholar Quiz sign-ups will begin at 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday in the auditorium lobby on a first come, first served basis.
Scholar Quiz is limited to 64 teams of 4 players each, but all grades are welcome to join the tournament. Scholar Quiz will take place on Mar. 29, 30, 31, and Apr. 3, 4, 5.
“I think Scholar Quiz is an appropriate and entertaining way to prove your intellectual capabilities to your fellow peers while having a friendly yet competitive environment,” sophomore Benjamin An said.
In order to participate in Scholar Quiz, teams must fill out an entry form, which can be found online and in the front office. In addition, a new requirement this year is that all teams must recruit one adult volunteer who can work the first day of Scholar Quiz, Mar. 29, from 10:45 am to 11:45 am.
“I think Scholar Quiz is a really fun opportunity for people to showcase their unique talents and compete with their friends,” ASB Commissioner of Community Relations Daniela Arensdorf said.
