The St. Patrick’s Day Parade took place in downtown Hermosa Beach on Saturday March 11th at 11 am. A truck decorated with rainbow balloons and other St. Patrick’s Day decorations drives by the crowd during the beginning of the parade. The truck had a 10 on the front because this was the 10th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Hermosa Beach. The “Ignited” jazz band walks the parade while holding their instruments and a poster with their band name on it. This jazz band included some of the costa students that participated in the parade. A group of bikers bike down Pier Avenue with their bikes decorated for St. Patrick’s Day. The parade was 7 blocks total, it started at the city hall and then going down Pier Avenue. A group of dancers walks in the parade and periodically stops to dance for the surrounding crowd. The group of dancers was led by their dance teacher as they danced in the parade.
