The Reverend Dr. Rachel Anne Nyback of Saint Cross by the Sea Episcopal Church introduces the Mira Costa High School Choir. The Choir performed on Tuesday night at 7 pm at St. Cross by the Sea.The Mira Costa High School Advanced Women’s Chorale performs at the beginning of the showcase. The Kammerchor Chamber Choir from the University of Cologne performed after Mira Costa.Junior Katherine Harfouch performed a lengthy solo at the beginning of the show. Harfouch has been in Choir since her Freshman year.The Advanced Women’s Choir reads their music from their books while performing in front of lots of people at the church. Before the performance Rev. Rachel Anne Nyback and Choir Director Micheal Hayden spoke.Katherine Harfouch stands in front of her peers, performing a solo in a song originally by Felix Mendelssohn. This was Mira Costa’s third annual Cathedral Concert.
