The Do Lab, the dance music stage at the edge of the Coachella grounds, is literally and figuratively the coolest place to be for Coachella.
The Do Lab serves as one of Coachella’s best stages thanks to the intricate setting that creates a connection between artists and concert goers, its shady structure and its spaciousness that makes room for dancing.
Since its creation, The Do Lab has been a prime location to discover both emerging and established electronic artists. This year’s 13th anniversary lineup was especially eclectic, ranging from the avant-garde Whethan to the new-school producer Mr. Carmack.
The Do Lab at Coachella is one of the more discrete stages at Coachella since it’s tucked away to the side of the entrance where attendees go to have fun, dance cooling off in between sets. It includes special features such as misters and super soakers that keep attendees feeling cool and refreshed so they can dance all day long.

What makes The Do Lab unique compared to all the other stages is that it offers the audience a close connection with the performing artist. Because of the compact size, listeners can have a much more personal experience with the performer making The Do Lab the most unique stage at Coachella.
This year, Coachella goers were greeted with a new design: an origami-like dome with triangular openings with orange, blue and yellow fabric all around the sides. Inside, there were water guns and misters which cooled everyone off as deep thumping electronic music blasted. The Do Lab provides an amazing and immersive experience inside the Coachella festival.

The producers of The Do Lab outdid themselves compared to previous years with its biggest improvement being that it had far more space than ever before. Last year one of the problems with its design was that there wasn’t enough space, overcrowding the stage. This year, however, the structure was open, offering guests much more room to dance freely.
Overall, The Do Lab hosted a plethora of dynamic performances who made the Coachella experience unforgettable. The interactive structure and the surprise guests proved that The Do Lab is an integral part of Coachella.
