1) After taking off from LAX, the plane views display the California coastline. The plane took off in a westward direction before it made a U-turn toward Nashville.
2) A small boat motors on a river on the perimeter of downtown Nashville. It traveled under a bridge parallel to the pedestrian bridge.
3) The famous Jack’s barbecue sign attracts hungry people in the city. The line for the restaurant was a 45 minute wait.
4) A bright yellow taxicab speeds through downtown Nashville midday on Thursday, September 8th, 2017. The traffic was unusually light there in the city’s center.
5) Neon lights brighten Nashville establishments late on Saturday night, September 10th, 2017. The city was booming with country music and people chuckled and chattered.
6) A small log cabin, formerly the residence to dozens of slaves, stands alone in a field. The cabin housed the slaves of President Andrew Jackson.
7) Loveless Cafe’s neon sign is lit as day sets into dusk on September 13th, 2017. Loveless used to be a motel, but was converted to a popular restaurant and collection of shops.
8) A showcase box displays outfits from Taylor Swift’s Red World Tour in the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum. Taylor received special honor because she grew up there in Tennessee.
9) People gaze forward at the 133 Hall of Fame inductee awards which the main hall of the Country Music Hall of Fame displays. The awards have been granted annually since 1961.
