Mira Costa’s baseball team dominated Inglewood High School with a final score of 22-0 in an away game. A top performance came from sophomore second baseman Dylan Dennis.
Costa shutout Inglewood during the game by not allowing any runs. With a strong offense, they were able to reach double digits in the win against Inglewood.
“We played well today,” senior right fielder Kohl Titzler said. “Our offense was on point and our pitching did a great job throwing strikes.”
The Mustangs are now 14-7 and will play Inglewood High School in a home game this Friday. According to Dennis, they definitely want to bring a good offense on Friday.
“I think we played well and while it wasn’t against the particularly best team we’ve faced all year, I think we did a good job swinging the bat,” Dennis said. “We need to continue this on Friday and throughout the remainder of the year.”
