Costa competed in the Bay League singles with many other schools. From Costa, Sillman, sophomore Alex Fry, sophomore Matthew Poh, and junior Shant Samuelian. Sillman was the only one from Costa to win one round.

“I think the four players that represented costa today put in a good effort despite not getting the results we wanted,” Poh said.

The Mustangs, still 15-2 overall and 8-1 in Bay league, will next play Bay League Doubles on Thursday at Jack Kramer club in Palos Verdes. According to Poh, the team will try even harder to perform better in the next game.

“I don’t really know how we will do but I know we will play our best,” sophomore Ethan Han said.
