1. The flyer for the Mira Costa Drama department’s show, Oklahoma, goes out to students, parents, and teachers around campus. Bailey Borowsky along with other freshman recieved a stack of flyers to hand out at the door.
2. Oklahoma takes place at the Mira Costa auditorium for all shows. Its doors were open on the closing show on April 29th at 7:30pm.
3. Before the show, the drama students that work the door gather for a quick photo op. They were bummed to not star in the show, but they were still able to dress up and stay in character.
4. Prior to the the show, the people watching sit patiently in their seats for it to beginning. The lights dimmed as the actors and actresses took stage.
5. Drama students sing and dance to open the show with energy. The show opened with a song to get the audience going.
6. Actresses show emotion with their facial expressions during Oklahoma. Overall, they showed much emotion throughout the whole production.
7. The final act ends with the students together singing a song. Since it was the last show, the drama students shed tears during their last song.
8. At the very end, they gather for a photo to capture the moments of the final show. Parents had their phones and cameras so they could capture the moment.
9. Before the curtain closes, all students and teachers participating in the show take a final bow. It was a good closing to a good show.
10. After their performance, students gather to take pictures as it was some of their last highschool productions. Brinn Borowsky posed with a few of her friends after a strong performance.
