The Mira Costa Mustangs girls’ soccer team played South Torrance on Dec. 15 at home. They won the game 1-0 to bring their record to 6-1-2 this season.
The top performer in the match was senior Kendall Richter. She scored the only goal of the entire game. Richter’s goal was assisted by freshman Kimby Keever.
Mira Costa’s next game will be on Dec. 18 in the South Torrance tournament, hosted by South Torrance. The tournament continues from last weekend and, so far, the Mustangs are 1-1 in the tournament. Costa seeks more victories in the final games of the tournament.
