Mira Costa Baseball defeated the Peninsula Panthers, 10-0, in a home game on April 11 in the Mustangs’ first Bay League game of the season.
The Mustangs offense was too much for the Panthers with the Mustangs offense firing from all cylinders. Costa’s pitching and defense was also superb throughout the contest making both routine and difficult plays.
“Defensively we are sweet,” sophomore Kyle Karros said, “We have the best pitching staff around and play very well in the field.
Costa now 16-1 and 1-0 in league play will face Peninsula again in an away game on Friday April 13. The Mustangs are looking to keep their undefeated record in Bay League.
“The pitcher pitched great and offensively we got the job done,” Karros said.
