Costa Link Crew held its annual This is Costa Night on Oct. 25 in the Mustang Mall where perspective students gathered to learn about different programs offered at Costa.
The event began with performances from Costa’s dance and cheer teams, as well as the Vocal Ensemble Choir. Costa principal Dr. Ben Dale followed the performances with a presentation on what Costa is like in the auditorium.
The students got to see what Costa is like,” vice principal Dr. Deborah Hofreiter said. “It was the best This is Costa night we’ve hosted so far.”
58 booths were set up in the Mustang Mall, consisting of sports teams, electives, clubs and foreign language programs. Representatives from each program were there to answer questions and talk about their respective organizations.
“This is Costa Night helps us recruit incoming freshmen to join our team and strengthen our program,” sophomore and Junior Varsity Cheer leader, Katrina Boren said. “It gives us an idea of how many freshmen would be interested in joining the team the following year.”
