Despite having a few minor issues in his past such as assault and the selling of crack, Meek Mill is back on top after dropping his new album “Championships.”
The album contains a total of 18 songs and features guest appearances from several major artists such as Drake, Jay-Z, Cardi B and more. The collaboration with Drake marked the first time that the artists had a made a song together since 2015.
Throughout the album Mill thrills his listeners with lines like, “Two-fifty a show and they still think I’m sellin’ crack.” His song “Going Bad,” featuring Drake, was a huge success and has already become the number 2 song in the United States on Spotify.
With songs like “Respect The Game” and “Almost Slipped,” he proved to haters everywhere that he can still make some magical music. The melodic beats and uplifting lyrics are sure to inspire everyone listening to the album.
Not everything can be a success though. Songs like “100 Summers” and “Oodles O’ Noodles Babies” are the opposite of good and can be extremely difficult to listen to at times. The generic beat and lackluster lyrics downgrade the album.
Overall the album was very good and certainly silenced the critics for a few hours. The style and quality shown in many of the songs makes listeners love the album.
“Championships” is already the number one album in the world. It dropped on November 30 and has been one of the best albums that Meek Mill has ever produced.
