The Mira Costa girls soccer team visited the Peninsula Panthers on Jan. 21. The Mustangs lost their first Bay League game with a score of 2-0.

Senior Dana Eisenhower kept the Mustangs in the game with four blocks. However, the offensive Mustangs could not move past their tough opponent to find the back of the net by the time the final whistle sounded.

Mira Costa hosts the Redondo High School Seahawks on Jan. 25. With a Bay League record of 2-0-1 and an overall record of 11-2-4, the girls will look to defeat their rivals and improve their record.
