Rich The Kid proves why the world belongs to him with the release of his newest album, “The World Is Yours 2.”
Rich The Kid impresses listeners by showcasing his musical diversity and potential for making ‘hits’ in his recent album, “The World Is Yours 2.” The project successfully compiles catchy melodies, memorable lyrics and high quality production into 16 tracks that stun listeners with original, high-quality music.
Dimitri Roger, professionally known as Rich The Kid, is a rapper originating from New York City who began to gain attention for his music when mainstream rap was still considered ‘underground.’ The rapper first made an impact on billboards after the release of his platinum awarding single “Plug Talk.” Since then, the rapper has gained enormous amounts of followers with his popular singles and collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne and others.
“The World Is Yours 2” is the sequel to Rich The Kid’s first debut album titled “The World Is Yours.” Released by Interscope Records, the album has a total of 16 tracks and features artists such as Young Thug, Gunna, Lil Pump, Offset, NBA Youngboy and more. The album also collaborates with reputable producers such as CashMoneyAp, TrapMoneyBenny and Wheezy.
What separates the sequel from the orginal “The World Is Yours” album is Rich The Kid’s unique approach to this project by diversifying his sound. Each track on the album exhibits a musical masterpiece and perfect sounds in multiple categories. The songs on the project are noticeably very distinct from one another and are not repetitive. The album also incorporates several artists which present their own unique sounds and emotions to the vocals.
The high quality production of the album emphasizes the rhythmic beats and precise vocals. Rich The Kid’s vocals are on beat and satisfy the ear in every song. The rapper also showcases his diversity in the types of ‘flows’ he has. In the track, “Two Cups,” Rich The Kid approaches the song with more of a rap-styled focus. In the track “For Keeps,” Rich The Kid exhibits a melodic style of rap that compliments NBA Youngboy’s similar style.
The collaborations on the album only better the tracks and perfectly blend with Rich The Kid’s style of rap to create songs with the potential of being Billboard hits. On the track titled “Rockets,” Offset and Lil Pump’s feature adds energy while following the rhythm of the heavy hitting beat. The collaboration with Miguel and Ty Dolla $ign on “Woah” stands out compared to the other songs on the project with its calm melody and singing from the artists.
The best songs on the album are unarguably “Save That” and “Fall Threw.” On “Save That,” Rich The Kid raps over a unique, memorable beat that sounds like a flute and perfectly presents his vocals with catchy lyrics. On “Fall Threw,” Rich The Kid, Gunna and Young Thug craft a hyped song with an amazing chorus and superb vocal delivery.
