Mira Costa Boys Lacrosse beat Redondo 14-7

The Mira Costa boys lacrosse team won, 14-7 against Redondo Union High School on Tuesday, April 24 at home. The top performer was senior, Dylan Mark with six goals.

The mustangs played well in the first half, while Lucas Menendez scored one goal and many goals from Dylan Mark and others. At halftime the score was 13-3. Although Redondo managed to get some goals in, Costa stayed in power ending the game with an overall win.

“The team has been playing incredible defense,” said Menendez. “We are spinning the ball on offense very well and converting our chances too.”

The Costa boys are scheduled to play an away game against Palos Verdes High School on Wednesday, April 24.

“If we come out with the same energy and dynamics that we did with this game I have no doubt we will come out with a win against PV,” said Fitzy Delmonte.
