On Jan. 24, the Costa girls water polo team traveled to Redondo Beach High School for their fourth Bay League game. Although it was a low scoring game, Costa emerged victorious with an 8-4 win.
Senior Marisa Purcell rallied her team for the win with five goals. Sophomore Sarah Crist brought energy with two goals. Sophomore Emily Milstead added another point to help Costa defeat their rivals. Junior Bianca Magno made 10 saves in goal.
With a season record of 14-6 and a Bay League record of 3-1, Costa looks to their next game on Jan. 26 when they host West High School.
