The Costa girls water polo team hosted West on Jan. 26. With an ending score of 23-1, the impressive win improved their Bay League record to 4-1 and their season record to 14-6.With such a high score, Costa was obligated to keep from scoring during the fourth period.
This game spotlighted several talented players. Seniors Marisa Purcell and Natalie Lavinsky both contributed five points to Costa’s score. Junior Madison Bauman and sophomore Sarah Crist contributed goals to the game as well.
The Mustangs host Palos Verdes on Jan. 31 in their sixth Bay League game.
