The Mustang wrestling team hosted their rivals, the Redondo High School Seahawks, on Jan. 27. The boys fought hard but fell short in their closest match of the season.
Seniors Joey Beck, Weston Carico, and Justin Tam won their weight classes. Juniors Ian Goodbody and Jake Rosenfeld also emerged victorious. Freshman Kit Murphy defeated one of Redondo’s top wrestlers for an unexpected win.
The Mustangs travel to Millikan High School on Jan. 29 to participate in the Millikan Invitational.
