The Mira Costa boys basketball team lost to Leuzinger High School in an away game on Feb. 4. The Mustangs visited the Olympians for the Bay League game that ended with a score of 73-68.
Costa seniors Thomas Johnson and Elliot Ozer worked hard to hold back the Olympians but were unable to pull off the win. Ozer contributed 25 points and Johnson added 20 points, eight rebounds and three blocks.
With an overall record of 9-15 for the season and 2-6 in the Bay League, the Mustangs play against Palos Verdes Peninsula. They will host one of their final Bay League games on Feb. 8 at 7:30 pm.
