The Mustangs hit the ground running, scoring four goals in the first half from seniors Anthony Lopez, Dillan Argue, and junior Jack Crawford. In the second half, the boys continued their momentum, scoring three more goals from seniors James Riker, Drew Rohm, and Jared Tang, finishing the game, 7-0.
“The team played well, but it was an expected win,” Tang said. “We got to see how different players could use different skill sets in different positions.”
The boys play the Redondo Seahawks on Tuesday, Jan. 21 at Redondo. They are currently 3-1 in Bay League.
“We just need to put our heads down and focus on the upcoming games,” Tang said. “The loss to Palos Verdes was tough but in order to move forward we have to put that in the past. We have to focus on staying healthy and make sure we put out our best effort every game.”
