Manhattan Beach public seating options will be given strongly enforced rules and oversight to ensure everyone’s safety following reopening.
Manhattan Beach City Council’s Long Term Business Solutions committee members Steve Napolitano and Richard Montgomery sent word that outdoor dining decks in the city would be temporarily closed beginning Jan. 3. and have now been reopened as of Jan. 27.
“Joe [Franklin, a newly elected city council member] and I are suggesting adding robust enforcement of outdoor seating to curb standing, crowding and drinking,” Manhattan Beach Mayor Suzanne Hadley said.
