Little Sister displays a mixture of Western culture and Southeast Asian culture, giving the restaurant a unique and elevated dining experience.
Little Sister opened its doors around four months ago, replacing the previous bread restaurant Superba.
The perfect start to an experience at Little Sister is the pork, shrimp, and crab dumplings. The combination of shellfish and meat wrapped in a perfectly cooked dumpling is unlike any other appetizer at any Vietnamese restaurant. The fried seabasses have been cooked to perfection with every bite being flaky and buttery. The seabass is unique due to the fact that it can be wrapped in lettuce and dipped in ginger chili sauce. The “xoi” sticky rice topped with an excellent cooked egg to top it along with lap cheong and pork is a superb combination of foods to make one decadent dish.
The restaurant does a great job making authentic Vietnamese dishes while adding to one of the world’s most unique cultures.
The interior art is the perfectly established history of the Vietnam war. It contains painted helicopters on the ceilings and painted barbed wire on the walls. When one enters the restaurant, one might notice the multitude of beautiful butterflies on the walls that symbolize peace. Not only is Little Sister an adequate place to go when you’re in need of some good food, but Little Sister conveys history in each dish they choose to present to customers.
With Little Sister’s appetizing food, wonderful service, unique atmosphere, and the message under the restaurant’s surface makes it one of the most distinctive restaurants in the community. Its interior appearance, that is what gives the restaurant its character and individuality. The delectable dishes guaranteed to have customers coming back to enjoy Little Sister for a second and third time.
Everyone can find Little Sister at 830 CA-1 Suite 100, El Segundo, and is open from 11 a.m to 10 p.m everyday.
