According to Senior Lucca Franz, Iantuono is a very energetic and happy individual. Iantuono
participates in many activities at Costa and the community, such as sports and the Grades of
Green Club. Iantuono grew up in Manhattan Beach where she attended Grandview Elementary School. She also competes as a member of Costa’s cross country and track team.
“I really enjoy the cross country and track team because I have made the best memories with
my teammates and coaches,” Iantuono said.
Iantuono decided to try out for the cross country team with her friends and is currently running on the varsity team. According to Iantuono, she was not expecting to be elected onto the court and was blown away when she became Homecoming royalty.
“I would say my energy and happiness make me stand out from others,” Iantuono said. “I am
always pretty excited and fired up.”
Iantuono, along with the members of Homecoming court, featured in a video inspired by this
year’s theme: Red Carpet. The candidates recreated scenes from some of their favorite movies
with help from the maker of the film, senior Matthew Cullen. Iantuono and her elected partner Ben Geniser recreated a famous scene from the movie “Risky Business.”
“[Homecoming] week was one of the most fun weeks of my life,” Iantuono said.
