Costa Model United Nations (MUN) hosted its annual LAIMUN conference on Dec. 4 and 5.
The conference was held in several of Costa’s classrooms and was separated by committee. Three to four Costa MUN students hosted debates in each room. Several schools from the South Bay and Orange County attended the conference, with each student representing a country. However, Costa MUN students had the option to facilitate discussion or participate.
“I was in the Feneral Assembly branch room, where we debated on government censorship and legal limits to human cloning, which was super interesting,” sophomore Marlowe Hutter said.
