Mira Costa’s Heart Club made a “Kindness Tree” poster on Nov. 1 for students and staff to share what they’re grateful for.
The poster can be seen outside of room 40 on campus and was intended to inspire appreciative and gratitude-based thinking, according to junior and Heart Club member Lia Defonce Martini, who says that the club hopes to make the Kindness Tree an annual Costa tradition.
“The goal of creating this tree was to get people thinking about kindness and gratitude. As a club, we believe it is important to recognize the little things in life and to be grateful for what you have,” said Martini.
