Mira Costa’s swim team competed in a dual meet against Culver City High School on April 14 marking Costa’s fifth consecutive win this season.
“I think we were very strong as a team,” sophomore Kayla Kinsey said. “We all had so much team spirit at this meet, which boosted everyone’s morale.”
Kinsey says how her hopes for the rest of the season are high as the team has been working extremely hard to get to the point they are at. Freshman Delaney Herr swam the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 54.85.
“We only have one meet left before Bay League and CIF,” Kinsey said. “The next meet for us is against Redondo which will be a good rivalry.”
