Costa’s Comedy Sportz blue team, made up of two Costa players and two Joslyn Jokers, won a narrow victory in the small theater on Feb. 10 at 7 p.m.

The red team gained the lead in the first half after winning the first game, “Expert Challenge.” In the second half, after red team won “Good Vacation, Bad Vacation,” the blue team made a comeback with the game “Four by Four.” Both teams participated in the final game, “Beastie Rap,” where players improvise rhyming raps, putting the blue team ahead at 48-47.

“I have been on the Comedy Sportz team since I was a freshman and have dreamed of one day refereeing a match when I was a senior,” said senior and Comedy Sportz manager Matalee Brown.
