SOS: SZA dropped her SOS album on December 9 after posting the album cover on her Instagram in early November 2022. The cover features the singer on a diving board wearing a baseball jersey as she looks out over the ocean. Critics argue that SZA seems to have recreated the infamous paparazzi picture of Princess Diana on a yacht for her cover. Photo by Ava Nicols/La Vista

At the show’s beginning, the screen lifted, revealing SZA on the end of a diving board, exactly like her album cover, as she sang one of the top hit songs from her SOS album.  She then went on to “jump off” the platform and transitioned into “Used,” a track she recorded with the famous rap artist Don Toliver.

Before the crowd could exit the building, she quickly ran out to say a final thank you, expressing her gratitude for helping her get to where she is today. Her humbleness and genuine nature allow her to connect with her fans and achieve a successful following of individuals who not only love her music but love her for who she is, just another “Normal Girl.”
