On Monday, May 1, MBUSD invited local coffee catering company ‘Cappuccino Man’ to distribute personalized coffee drinks to teachers and staff, celebrating their hard work and dedication. With Teacher Appreciation week just around the corner, administration is preparing a number of upcoming events to express their gratitude for Costa’s educators and staff alike.
‘Cappuccino Man’ treated the teachers between 8-10 A.M., offering a delectable array of gourmet drinks. From classic cappuccinos and lattes to flavorful mochas and macchiatos, teachers had the opportunity to savor their favorite coffee creations, tailored to their personal preferences.
“It’s truly remarkable how a simple cup of coffee can brighten someone’s day and show thanks for their hard work,” said barista Yesenia Rameriz. “As baristas, we’re glad to be part of something bigger and acknowledge the hard work of the individuals who shape young minds.”
MBUSD administration is preparing for national Teacher Appreciation Week taking place Monday, May 8, to Friday, May 12. All MBUSD campuses will participate in a range of campus-wide appreciation events for teachers and staff to enjoy.
“This is the best part of our job. Seeing their smiles, hearing their stories, and knowing we make a positive impact on their day is incredibly fulfilling,” said barista Sarah Lewkow.
