On April 20, Costa teachers won, 34-33, in a Comedy Sportz match against students at 7 p.m. in the small theater.

The teachers’ team, comprised of Jim Hands, Janet Allen, Lisa Claypoole and Leo Amador, were successful in the first half, up by seven points against students Drew Martin, Ben Orroth, Harper Santos, and Caden Coons. Teachers Shawn Chen, Jonathan Waserman, Diana Sieker and Claypoole faced students Devan Malik, Max Kamachee, Margot Powell, and Parker Stickney in the second half.

“I really enjoyed being the [referee for the first half],” said senior Malik. “It was interesting to see the match from that side.”
