ASB puts on tri-annual drive in partnership with UCLA

Mira Costa’s Associated Student Body (ASB) organized its tri-annual blood drive in partnership with the UCLA Health program in the Pavillion Gym on Thursday.

Each donor had to be at least 16 years of age and have no underlying health conditions to donate blood. Students who registered to donate contributed one pint of blood per person, with each unit going toward saving up to three lives.

“I decided to donate blood because it’s super easy and can help other people,” said junior Kailena Song. “This is my second time donating, and it’s a great experience.”
