Lewis Capaldi sells out Greek Theater on May 3rd with a performance that leaves the crowd in tears.

Lewis Capaldi Sold out the Greek Theater, Los Angeles on May 3rd. Fans were amazed by his amazing stage presence and beautiful voice.

Lewis Capaldi performed at the Greek Theater for one night only on May 3rd. It was an unforgettable night filled with a variety of songs from his past and recent album. 

 

The Greek Theater was an amazing experience and truly allowed Capaldi to connect with his fans. The Theater has a capacity of 5,900 and is located near Griffith park. The sold out concert made getting in and out of the theater extremely difficult. Although, Capaldi’s compelling voice and hysterical personality made it all worth the trouble of getting in and out of the venue. 

Lines were forming outside the Greek Theater to see Capaldi.

 

The band Medium Build opened for Lewis Capaldi and played multiple of their songs, one being called “Rage” where he got the audience to scream at the top of their lungs. The band from Alaska was constantly repeating how amazing this experience is to be able to play in such a beautiful theater. Their emotional sound was similar to Capaldi’s so it got the audience excited and ready for an amazing performance. 

 

Lewis Capaldi started off his concert with one of his new songs “Forget me” from his upcoming album which will be released on May 19th. The colorful flashing lights set the tone for an amazing concert. He currently has four songs released from this album, but will not release the whole album till the official release date. 

Capaldi played one of his most famous songs “Hold Me While You Wait” at the Greek Theater.

 

In between songs Capaldi would crack jokes and make comments throughout them. This kept concert attendees interested and satisfied throughout the whole concert. His jokes allowed him to become closer with the audience because everyone was laughing with him. 

 

In addition to his new songs he also played some of his most popular songs like “Someone You Loved,” “One,” and “Hold Me While You Wait.” Capaldi captivated the audience with his beautiful voice during  “Hold Me While You Wait” as he set the mood with dark red lights. The popularity of this song was what made this performance magical. Capaldi was emotional the whole performance because this is the song that got him on the charts. He took many times to pause throughout the song and just absorb the intensity and emotion that was happening during this song. 

During Capaldi’s performance you could see the beautiful trees in Griffith Park.

 

During one of Capaldi’s new songs “Wish You The Best,” he showed the music video. This music video gained Capaldi popularity over multiple social media platforms like instagram and tik tok as the video has gone viral. It left the audience filled with tears while watching the emotional performance live. 

 

Capaldi claimed at the concert that most of his songs are written about sad and emotional times in his life, but when he played the song “Lost in You’ he dedicated it to all the couples in the audience. Throughout this song and many others he would pause many times just to listen to the audience sing.

Capaldi opened his show with “Forget Me” from his recent album.

 

The lights, singing, audience and theater all led to an unforgettable night. Capaldi and the control he has over his voice especially when he sang the more emotion filled songs was truly impressive. Capaldi dedicates most of his songs about past life experiences. That ranges from loss, heartbreak, and love. The emotion filled songs brought the audience together as we sang along with Capaldi. 

 

Capaldi will continue his tour and his next performance will be May 9th in Dallas, Texas. He will end his tour on September 13th in Germany. Tickets are available on Ticketmaster along with other major ticket websites.
